The National Institute of Civil Discourse (NICD) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of civility in all realms public, private, academic, personal and professional.
Founded in Tucson, Arizona in 2011 after the tragic shooting that took the lives of six people and wounded thirteen others, including Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, the NICD is the leading national voice for bridging through civil discourse and respect.
